HB 2936 (2015)
Created sobering centers in Oregon statute and allowed for the creating of 3 new sobering centers, including the Grants Pass Sober Center The limit on the number of sober centers was lifted by HB 2175 in 2017.
HB 2176 (2017)
Authorizes moneys in Mental Health Alcoholism and Drug Services Account to be used by counties to provide funding to sobering facilities.
